Aishwarya Rai Wins Best Actress for Sarbjit at IFFA Australia
Bollywood Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has won the best actress award at the International Film Festival and Awards of Australia (IFFAA) fo her movie Sarbjit. Directed by Omung Kumar, Sarbjit was the biopic on Sarbjit Singh was was an Indian Farmer was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan. The film starring Aishwarya and Randeep Hooda showcased his journey inside the jail and his sister’s unending fight to free him.

GMR’s Hyderabad International Airport has secured first position in the world in the prestigious Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey in the 5-15 million passengers per annum (MPPA) category of the year 2016. Besides, the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi has been ranked world’s second best airport, its score increased from 4.96 in 2015 to 4.99 in 2016.
Cuevas Wins Third Straight Brazil Open Title
Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas has won his third straight Brazil Open tennis title by defeating Albert Ramos Vinolas of Spain 6-7 (7-3), 6-4, 6-4 in a rain affected final. The match eventually finished more than 24 hours late after successive rain delays. Cuevas took control immediately after the restart before wrapping up the match. First smart tribal village inaugurated in Jammu & Kashmir
Jammu & Kashmir Minister for food, Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs Ch Zulfikar Ali inaugurated the first tribal model village in “Kotranka” in Jammu & Kashmir’s Rajouri district. Developed under the rural development department, it is the first smart tribal village in Jammu & Kashmir. The village has been introduced with smart classes in the schools, better roads, electricity and water facility.
